TEXT "REAL STORIES OF CHANGE" OVER PHOTO OF A MAN PRESENTING TO A GROUP

I have written several posts recently about my upcoming program called OBSESSION: 100 Day Bootcamp to Optimal Performance.

This morning a former client who, three years ago completed this program and who is a reader of my blogs, texted to ask whether he could contribute a few words to talk about his experience with this hundred-day process.

I encouraged him to do so, and the following is the content of an email I received from him.

Rael,

It’s been three years since I allowed you to talk me into your 100-day mindset-changing program and I would like to share with you what my life is been like since then.

I was both skeptical and afraid to commit to the program. Skeptical that it could live up to its billing and afraid that I would not be strong enough to stay the course.

To be honest with you, when I thought about a boot camp, I pictured Lou Gossett as Drill Sergeant Foley in “An Officer and A Gentleman.” Your description of being tough was so very different from what I expected, you were in fact always a gentleman.

In preparing for this adventure, I committed to a 100-day lifestyle that would essentially turn my life upside down.  I found the first two weeks very difficult, but it was difficult because for the first time on my life, I was beginning to realize how complacent I had become.  And the realization that if I was serious about changing my life, I had to change myself.

All that changed by the beginning of week three. As challenging as my daily tasks were, they began to feel easier and more natural. I was further buoyed, amazed actually, by the results my activities were producing.

By the beginning of the second half of this quest, I  felt like a well-oiled machine. Without a doubt, each day I felt more focused because I saw both myself and the world around me differently.  For the first time in my life, I could honestly say that I looked forward to getting out of bed and discovering how I could apply what I was learning about being my best self.

With three weeks left to complete the program, I had already achieved and surpassed each of my goals.  Interestingly. rather than anticipating feelings of relief at ending the program, I became obsessed with planning what would be required to sustain this new level of life that I had experience over the past months. There was so much now that was within my grasp, how could I keep that momentum going?

Three years have now passed and all I have to say is that without any doubt, by far these have been the most amazing years of my life I am healthier, wealthier and happier than ever before. I have never worked harder, sweated more or pushed further.  The difference is I do so now with the confidence that I have developed the capacity to be my own champion and advocate.

This boot camp is not really for the faint of heart or someone who has yet to make the decision that they are the ultimate architect of their life. However, if you are at the fork in the road and courageous enough to hold who you are up to the light, you will have the immense opportunity to sculpt your life, the life you have always wanted.   Those 100 days taught me more about myself than I could ever have imagined. Most importantly, I learned that I was tougher, braver and more resilient than I had previously believed, and I now know that whatever challenges may face me in the future I am well-equipped to both handle and defeat them.

I have five slots available for the next “OBSESSION – 100 Day Boot Camp To Optimal Performance” cohort. To find out how you can be part of this select cohort, please call (403) 802 3477, email tellmemore@strategicpathways.net or visit our website at strategicpathways.net/obsession.

Let’s make a habit of meeting like this.
